Strengthening The Team at Builders' Conference trade association

12 Jul 2018

The Builders’ Conference has underlined its commitment to providing enhanced levels of information and support by forming a new member-focused senior team.   This development, which comes into immediate effect, is part of a strategic development within The Builders’ Conference to promote the use of digital technology within the wider construction industry whilst embracing the changes taking place within the sector

The Builders’ Conference senior team is currently formed of three people; each promoted from within

Siobhan Jones, who has been with The Builders’ Conference for 8 years, is promoted to the position of Team Manager and will act as a conduit between the organisation’s team of researchers and chief executive officer Neil Edwards and she will also maintain her responsibility for the award winning BCLive league table, the UK’s only real time league table of new construction contracts

Sophie Bayles, who joined The Builders’ Conference in 2014, takes charge of source content of construction information, whilst retaining her role as research officer

The final member of the senior team is David Williams who joined the team in 2017.   David takes overall responsibility for ‘Serino’ the Builders’ Conference unique real time data platform built in the UK by the construction industry for the construction industry and to be launched in the third quarter of 2018. David will also retain his role as a research officer.

The senior team is ably assisted by membership officer Nigel O’Sullivan

“The construction industry of today is highly dynamic and is developing and changing at a faster pace than at any time in its history,” asserts The Builders’ Conference CEO Neil Edwards.   “As a trade association and market intelligence provider, it is vital that we match and even exceed that level of change and improvement.   Each member of our senior team is young yet experienced, highly motivated and dynamic; precisely the skills we need if we are to retain our position as the industry’s most trusted information source.”
